Word has reached me that the new stamps mentioned in my last post, “It’s official – it’s Rum Time” are being released this month, in August 2026.
There are still no images available for the stamps (which is a shame but not unusual), but at least we have confirmation that the release date will be Monday 17th August.
Cryptically, I know that the total cost of the set will be $4.60, so by a bit of reverse logic we can guess which values might be in there. It’s always likely that there is a 65c as it’s the local rate and I would hazard a guess that the overseas rates could be in there, but which ones are a mystery. If we assume a $2.20 stamp then that leaves $1.75 to find – any guesses?
Anyway, I guess we will find out soon enough. As soon as the stamps are released I will get scans up here, and in the meantime I will try to get some images and ideas about the values in the set to share with you.
