New additions to the collection

Barbados SG248cv

Thanks to everyone who has recently started to follow us on Facebook and Twitter and apologies for the lack of posts – simply pressure of work! The good news however is that amongst all this we have recently acquired a number of nice items for the collection and there will be more to add to the site very soon.

We have recently been sent a number of blocks from the George VI ‘Badge of colony’ set including a number of the listed varieties in Stanley Gibbons catalogue. We are in the process of creating a new page for the site which will allow us to highlight them as there are some which are quite difficult to spot.

As an example the ‘extra frame line’ variety is shown in the catalogue but is incredibly difficult to see unless you know what you are looking for. We will try to get some nice close ups of this flaw so you can check your own collection and see if you have one of these valuable errors in your possession.

We’re also on the look out for good sources of Barbados kiloware, especially if it contains ranges from 1990 onwards as this material is becoming hard to find, so if you know where there is some then get in touch with us!
