I’ve long been a collector of FDC’s, mostly GB though, but when I started to collect Barbados stamps I discovered that they too had a rich source of First Day Covers so I have included these in my collection. I have about 60% of all the covers I need so it’s getting harder to find the right one’s at the right price (everyone expects to get a fortune for ‘something so old’).
Today I was lucky and got two I had been missing for a while, the Barbados Museum FDC from 1983 and the Queen mother FDC from 1985. I’ll be putting all the rest of the collection online when I get a moment – or it’s a rainy day!
